1. Who we are and what this covers

Arkand Labs Private Limited ("Arkand Labs", "we", "us") is a company incorporated in India (CIN U58202TS2026PTC215144) with its registered office at FNO 304, A Block, Sai Srinivasam, Jillelguda, Meerpet, Saroornagar, Hyderabad 500097, Telangana, India.

This policy covers our website, arkandlabs.com, and information you share when you contact or do business with us. Our apps have their own policies:

• EADly Privacy Policy. EADly is operated in the US under license by Ethos Systems, LLC. Its policy explains how EADly handles information, including Arkand Labs' role.

2. Information we collect

When you visit this website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or third-party scripts or fonts. Like any website, it is delivered by a hosting provider, Netlify, Inc., which automatically processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page you requested and the time of the request. This is needed to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the contents of your message and any attachments.

When you do business with us

If you are a partner, supplier or customer of ours, we keep the contact and business details needed to work with you.

3. How we use it

• To reply to you and provide support for our apps.
• To run, secure and improve this website.
• To manage our business relationships.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to establish or defend legal claims.

We process this information because you have given it to us for a specific purpose, with your consent, to perform a contract with you, to meet a legal obligation, or for our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.

4. Who we share it with

• Service providers who process information for us under contract: Netlify, Inc. (website hosting) and Google LLC (Google Workspace email).
• Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect rights, safety and property.
• A successor, if Arkand Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. This policy would continue to apply to your information.

5. International transfers

Our service providers may process information outside India, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as the providers' standard contractual commitments.

6. How long we keep it

We keep emails and business records for as long as needed to respond to you, maintain our relationship and meet legal obligations, such as record-keeping rules under Indian company and tax law. Our hosting provider keeps technical logs for a limited period under its own policies.

7. Security

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted account access to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the authorities of a breach as the law requires.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• get a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it;
• correct, complete, update or delete it;
• withdraw consent, or object to or restrict certain processing;
• receive a copy of your data in a portable format;
• nominate someone to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to;
• have your grievance addressed by our Grievance Officer, and complain to a regulator such as the Data Protection Board of India, or your local data protection authority if you are in the EU or UK.

These rights come from laws including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, and US state privacy laws. To use them, email admin@arkandlabs.com with the subject "Privacy request". We may need to confirm your identity, and we'll respond within 30 days.

9. Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We'll post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll make that clear on this website.
